Byron Messia Returns Home To St. Kitts – Nevis

Byron Messia received a hero’s welcome upon his return to St.Kitts – Nevis on Wednesday night, June 21, 2023.

The dancehall artist (#ad) was welcomed by the Hon. Samal Duggins- Minister responsible for the Ministry of Creative Economy and was presented a Key to the City.

Following his check in at Kayan Jet, Byron Messia journeyed to the Robert L Bradshaw International Airport where he was greeted by a large crowd of supporters and was entertained with a cultural presentation by a group of Masqueraders whom he joined.

Messia’s face was filled with glee as he saw in reality what was specially organised for him upon his arrival; a billboard bearing his name, a picture of him and details of his rise to international fame erected on the grounds of the airport.

Byron returned on home soil for the 25th edition of the St.Kitts Music Festival. He is set to perform on Friday night June 23 alongside 313 Family, Govana, Skillibeng, Chronixx, Koffee and Anthony B. Messia will be performing his biggest hit “Taliban” in front of a home crowd for the first time.

The Jamaican born officially known as Dylan Byron was adopted by a Kittitian family and was brought to St.Kitts at two months old.
