Nevis Premier Meets With Tourist Shopping Village Developers

The construction team who will develop the Charlestown Harbour shopping village project held a meeting with Premier of Nevis, Hon. Joseph Parry last Tuesday at his Bath Hotel office.

The team consisted of Samuel Nikforjam of Namdar Brothers Reality Ltd, Edward Khan a contractor for Namdar Brothers and architect Xaverius Van Der Hoek.

According to Premier Parry issues relating to the commencement of the project were discussed with Tuesday, January 18th set for the ground breaking.

During the meeting, Premier Parry noted that the construction of the Charlestown Waterfront will be built by local contractors.  He said the employment of local workers was of utmost importance to his Nevis Reformation Party led-Administration and the economy of Nevis.

The luxury shopping center will be an up market development with about 25 stores. The property will consist of restaurants, small cafes and a number of shops selling leather goods, duty free perfumes, cosmetics and high fashion clothing.
