English Cricket Team Arrive In St. Kitts

St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister and Minister of Sports, Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas and Minister of State in the Ministry of Sports, Sen. the Hon. Richard “Ricky” Skerritt welcomed the England Cricket Team when they arrived at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport on Wednesday afternoon.
The Manager, Captain, coaches and other team members were greeted at the foot of the steps of the Virgin Atlantic 747 on the new parking area.
Dr. Douglas in welcoming the team invited them to use the facilities which have been constructed to establish St. Kitts as a venue for international cricket.
He expressed the hope that the England Team will get the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of St. Kitts and Nevis and the hospitality of the people.
The management and team were introduced to Prime Minister Douglas and Minister Skerritt, a former West Indies Team Manager, before boarding their bus for the St. Kitts Marriott Resort.
