The Caribbean Centre for Development Administration (CARICAD) is inviting applications from suitably qualified CARICOM nationals for the position of E-Government Advisor. CARICAD is a CARICOM institution designed to strengthen the managerial capacity for more effective implementation of public policy.
Qualifications must include a Masters degree in Public Administration or Administrative Sciences of Information Systems. Knowledge of ICT policy and applications is an asset and at least 10 years work experience, five of which should be at the managerial level is a plus.
The job objective is to manage the E-government Unit at CARICAD which has primary responsibility for working towards the E-Government goal in CARICOM member states of using technology to transform the provision of services for citizens across the region.
Responsibilities include planning, management and implementation of E-Government/Governance plans and activities in the CARICOM Region; developing the electronic infrastructure between governments, intergovernmental agencies and related agencies as well as capacity building for government officials and citizens of the region.
