Recent economic and financial developments in the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) and outlook will be discussed in Antigua on Friday.

St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas, who will be accompanied by Financial Consultant, Ambassador to the OECS and CARICOM, His Excellency Mr. Wendell Lawrence, will join other Eastern Caribbean leaders for the Third Joint Meeting of the OECS Authority and the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) Monetary Council for the meeting.

OECS leaders will also receive a report from the OECS Director General, Her Excellency Dr. Len Ishmael on the Status and Way Forward on the OECS Economic Union.

Eastern Caribbean Central Bank Governor, Sir K. Dwight Venner, will also make a presentation on the progress to date on the ECCU 8 Point Stabilisation and Growth Programme.
