The first aircraft to arrive was operated by British Airways, which provided direct service to St. Kitts and Nevis using its Boeing 777-200 aircraft. This wide-body jet is known for its long-haul capability and enhanced passenger comfort, making it well suited for transatlantic travel.

After landing at Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport, the aircraft later departed via Taxiway Alpha on Sunday evening. The flight continued onward to VC Bird International Airport in Antigua and Barbuda, completing a short regional hop after its transatlantic journey.

The Boeing 777-200 is powered by two General Electric GE-90 engines, among the most powerful commercial jet engines in service. Its large seating capacity allows airlines to transport significant numbers of passengers efficiently, contributing to strong arrival figures during peak travel periods.
