The Nisbet Plantation Beach Club has two more reasons to celebrate the New Year. The intimate Nevis resort has received high honors from both Travel + Leisure and Condé Nast Traveler in their 2013 award lists.

Travel + Leisure 2013 T+L 500

Nisbet Plantation Beach Club is named among the best hotels in the Caribbean in the just-released T+L 500 list of the World’s Best Hotels by Travel + Leisure magazine. The resort scored 92.00, earning a No. 2 spot in the region – less than one point behind the No. 1 resort, Nisbet’s sister property The Reefs in Bermuda. This marks the third consecutive year that Nisbet Plantation has been featured on the prestigious list.

The 2013 T+L 500 is available online now and will be featured in the January issue of Travel + Leisure magazine, which will be on newsstands December 21. The list is a compendium of the highest-ranking hotels and resorts worldwide, based on data collected in the Travel + Leisure 2012 World’s Best Awards readers’ survey.

Condé Nast Traveler 2013 Gold List

Condé Nast Traveler magazine recently released its 2013 Gold List of the World’s Best Places to Stay. Nisbet Plantation was among the top hotels and resorts in the Caribbean and Atlantic Islands, earning a No. 3 spot in the region with a score of 95.8. It is Nisbet Plantation’s seventh appearance on the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List.

In addition, Nisbet Plantation was honored for the second year in a row by Condé Nast Traveler as a member of the prestigious Platinum Circle of Gold List “superstars” that have been on the Gold List for five consecutive years. Nisbet Plantation is the only St. Kitts and Nevis resort given this recognition.

“To begin 2013 with not just one, but two, awards from highly regarded travel publications and their readers is an incredible honor,” says General Manager Andrew Hall. “The continuum of accolades that Nisbet Plantation has received over the past few years speaks to the consistency of our long-term Nevisian staff and their ongoing commitment to deliver an excellent vacation experience for our guests.”
